I live in NJ but am originally from Syracuse. When I had my baby, I brought her here when she was 1.5 months old to have an oral tie consultation. Dr. Nolan walked my husband and I through the pros and cons and showed us examples. I was nervous about putting my baby through unnecessary pain but we felt reassured that this was the right thing to do. The procedure took less than a few minutes and my baby was latching and feeding better immediately after. Dr. Nolan and staff were absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to work on my baby. Definitely worth the trip up from NJ for peace of mind. If I lived in Syracuse, my daughter would be going here all the time.

I’ve been taking my 2 kids to Little Jaws Big Smiles for years. Everyone on the staff is kind and considerate. My daughter recently had a tooth extracted and as we were in the car driving home she said she loved her dentist (Dr. Nolan) because she is kind and gentle. The doctors and support staff makes my kids feel comfortable, they explain everything that is happening during the procedure, and the office is easy to contact and they send reminders constantly. I highly recommend this dentist office.

My neurodiverse 11yo had some traumatic experiences at another pediatric dentist so I decided to try Little Jaws Big Smiles and I'm so glad I did. We were able to do a short first appointment with just an exam. Dr Tansy asked all the right questions and treated my son with respect and compassion. She is just the right mix of kind and firm. She explained all the tools and what she was doing and didn't push him too far. She gave us flexible options for appointments going forward so that we can slowly build up to a full exam with cleaning. This is the first dentist appointment that didn't involve my kid in tears. I hugged her before we left! I am so relieved to have found this place.

I can’t express enough gratitude to Little Jaws, Big Smiles for the exceptional care they provided during my daughter’s lip and tongue tie surgery. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the entire staff. The office itself is amazing—welcoming, clean, and clearly designed with kids in mind. Dr. Nolan and the team made us feel so safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer every single one of our (many!) questions and addressed all of our concerns with patience and understanding. It was clear they genuinely care about their patients and want parents to feel confident and informed. We had a terrible experience with the first dentist we took our 15-month-old to, so I was a bit nervous coming in—but Little Jaws, Big Smiles was a complete night and day difference. I couldn’t be happier with the care my daughter received, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a pediatric dentist. We are so grateful to have found them!

Dr. Tansy and the dental assistant were excellent, caring, kind, and direct. I was so nervous about bringing my autistic daughter. Not only were they excellent at what they do, they were excellent at their bedside mannerism and sharing advice on how to make the appointment a successful one. I really hope for all our providers in the medical field to speak to us and our daughter the way that Dr. Tansy did- she is awesome!
